Richwoods R-VII school district is the proud recipient of a Tier 1 Award of Excellence from Missouri School-Wide Positive Behavior Support. This award recognizes schools that achieve positive outcomes for students through exemplary implementation of Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support (SW-PBS).
In addition, the Awards of Excellence:
- promote an evidence-based, systems approach that improves outcomes for students.
- reinforce staff efforts in implementing SW-PBS.
- provide a continuous feedback loop to improve SW-PBS implementation.
- identify exemplary schools serving all age and demographic groups to serve as model demonstration sites.
Criteria are based on effective implementation of the essential components outlined by the National Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support. Congratulations to our PBS team on this great honor.
